My wife’s father died in 1968 when she was just three weeks old. He was a Notre Dame graduate, a WWII fighter pilot, he was shot down and held in a Japanese POW camp. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He married his south Texas sweetheart and unfortunately died of a massive heart attack about a year later. He was an interesting man. It’s too bad that my wife never got to know him.
He’s the guy on the right in the photo with the Jeep and the guy on the left with the ducks. The final photo is of him and my mother-in-law

On my way to work this morning I pulled into the parking lot of Fort Worth’s Modern Art Museum to drink my coffee and make a few work related phone calls. It’s a great place to relax.
